Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home. The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.
This opportunity will see you lead and inspire your own team. With your guidance, the team will ensure that the children living within the homes have positive, outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of the residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
- Develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a Children's Residential Home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
