Job Summary

EMBL-EBI is embarking on a transformative mission to enhance its IT services through the implementation of the IT Service Management (ITSM) framework using the ServiceNow platform. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our implementation team, actively participating in the green-field deployment of the platform.

About the Role

As a ServiceNow developer at EMBL-EBI, you will play a crucial role in the development, design, and support of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will span across administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support for the ServiceNow platform, all executed with the utilisation of best practices in web programming techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and customization of ServiceNow applications, especially ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management), Workspaces and Employee Center.
• Write, test, and deploy basic server-side and client-side scripts like business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
