Mortuary Technician

Job Summary:

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a highly experienced Mortuary Technician to work with our client in a Buckinghamshire-based mortuary. This is a 3-month contract with review for extension, offering flexibility in terms of part-time hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of deceased individuals for autopsy and other medical procedures.
• Operate and maintain mortuary equipment, including refrigeration units and autopsy tables.
• Ensure the mortuary is maintained in a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure the smooth operation of mortuary services.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology is essential.
• Hospital experience is desirable.
• Mortuary experience is necessary.

Working Hours and Contract Duration:

This position can offer shifts from Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm, including part-time hours if preferred.
