About the Role

Catalyst Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD/CAM Programmer to lead our production team in CNC laser cutting and press brake operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC laser cutting machines, overseeing press brake operations, and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and Operations: Program and operate CNC laser cutting and press brake machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and train the production team to enhance productivity and process improvements.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Collaborate with production planning to ensure efficient workflow and machine utilization.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to maximize efficiency.
About You

We are looking for a motivated CAD/CAM professional with leadership experience and a strong background in CNC laser cutting and press brake operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years' experience as a setter/operator and programmer for CNC laser cutting and press brake machinery.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and file management for CNC machinery.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and make tooling adjustments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
