We are looking for a committed Technical Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Creating comprehensive electronic technical documentation, including Field Information Bulletins and Technical Information Bulletins.
- Providing expert technical assistance regarding machine-related issues to both clients and Field Service Engineers.
- Designing and facilitating training sessions on GGS/OEM products for clients, Field Service Engineers, and the GGS Helpdesk.
- Offering technical support to the Helpdesk for fault resolution via phone and Remote Device Management.
- Maintaining and updating the technical library of GGS products.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for manufacturer-related faults from Field Service Engineers or the GGS Helpdesk.
- Provisioning diagnostic software for Engineer's laptop setups.
- Preparing performance reports utilizing tools such as QlikView and Excel.
- Analyzing and developing action plans for product maintenance to minimize service call rates.
- Providing software support for GGS clients.
- Designing diagnostic scripts for Field Service Engineers.
- Collaborating with GGS engineering and solution teams for technical escalations and information sharing.
Qualifications:
- A level graduate with IT-related qualifications.
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
- Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with Wide Area and Local Area Networks.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Strong computer and database literacy.
- Ability to quickly comprehend instructions and demonstrate initiative.
- Capability to prioritize essential tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Awareness of emerging trends and developments in the field.
- Experience in creating and implementing training materials and plans.
