Transport Clerk

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Transport/Despatch Clerk to join our retail operation.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Senior Transport Clerk and transport team, providing on-site operational and administrative support. Key responsibilities include checking-in and checking-out registration of drivers, despatching drivers, and completing key documentation.
Key Duties:- Efficiently and accurately despatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
- Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
- Maintaining accurate trailer numbers in the internal tracking system
- Monitoring the service board to ensure correct week numbers are assigned to depot trailers
- Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to inform them of site procedures
- Completing daily tasks for compliance purposes
- Ensuring manning levels are updated and correct
- Internal reporting duties
- Downloading vehicle and driver digital tachographs as required
- Transport System management
- Experience in a similar role and a sound knowledge of Transport and Logistics
- Strong organisational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively
- Flexibility, articulation, and ability to cope under pressure
