Position Overview

McLaren Resourcing is in search of a seasoned Project Management professional with extensive experience in Large Scale Solar PV projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects from the Pre-Construction phase through to Commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Direct and manage operational teams, ensuring effective planning, organization, and coordination of on-site personnel.
  • Project Administration: Oversee general project documentation and adhere to contract processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Compile and finalize quality assurance documentation to maintain project standards.
  • Documentation Management: Regularly update essential construction documents and collaborate with project teams.
  • Financial Coordination: Assist Commercial and Quantity Surveying teams with account management and notifications.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Administer and oversee the performance of subcontractors.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to enhance team skills and career progression.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, with relevant qualifications preferred.
  • Qualifications: Hold a Management Qualification, Degree, HNC, or NVQ in a construction-related field.
  • Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in the renewables sector, specifically in Large Scale Solar PV projects.
  • Driving Requirements: A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in IT, particularly in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management abilities with a willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Travel Flexibility: Capability to travel across the country to various project sites.
