Role Overview:
The FP&A position is designed for a qualified finance professional who excels in a dynamic environment and is passionate about facilitating informed decision-making through detailed financial analysis. This role is situated within the London support center.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and actionable insights to aid strategic decision-making, focusing on revenue patterns, cost assessments, and profitability metrics for regular reporting to senior management.
- Compile weekly trading reports and monthly performance presentations, highlighting significant trends with clarity.
- Offer insights and recommendations based on operational feedback.
- Collaborate with the digital team to analyze CRM and Google Analytics data for actionable insights.
- Regularly review P&L cost components to enhance understanding of the cost structure and identify key trends.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to optimize performance, manage costs, and enhance profitability through process improvements.
- Develop and refine a suite of financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Assist the executive team with analysis and insights for presentations.
- Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to evaluate different scenarios and their potential impacts on financial outcomes.
Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic initiatives, including capital projects, through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial performance across the organization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a financial advisor to management, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Engage with department heads to understand their financial requirements and support their objectives.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making by encouraging the use of financial metrics and analysis throughout the organization.
Required Competencies, Experience, and Skills:
- Leadership: Build trust and influence decisions among colleagues.
- Collaboration: Strong business partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability: Embrace change and streamline processes using advanced technology and modeling.
- Communication: Excellent communicator capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.

Qualifications:
- Relevant financial qualification or equivalent degree (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
- Experience in financial planning and analysis within a multi-site business, ideally in hospitality or retail.
- Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with financial planning software such as Business Central NAV.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
