Work Arrangement:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effective Collaboration: Foster seamless cooperation across engineering and various functional teams.
  • Customer Management: Support effective customer management by facilitating communication and building relationships with clients.
  • Standards Application: Ensure that procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering activities.
  • Project Safety: Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.
  • Risk Management: Communicate and manage task and project risks effectively.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, and technical reports.
  • Change Assessment: Evaluate the implications of changes and queries.
  • Engineering Configuration: Maintain engineering configuration throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving: Develop proposals for investigations and solutions to technical issues.
  • Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in planning and delivering tasks.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorized.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling a variety of tasks across different complexities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with professionals from other disciplines.
  • A degree in engineering (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, along with substantial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD tools and General Engineering Drawing Practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BEng/MEng: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • Chartered status (preferred but not essential).
  • At least 3 years of experience in nuclear projects.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Possession of a British passport.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
