Position Overview

The individual will report to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager, overseeing all financial aspects of assigned projects. This role requires effective communication with clients, Professional Quantity Surveyors (PQS), and senior personnel. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting other members of the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities


• Assume commercial accountability for the functions within designated areas, collaborating closely with the Contracts Manager and providing reports to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

• Enhance cash flow by ensuring timely valuation preparations, invoice submissions, and payment collections.

• Assess plant and equipment schedules to guarantee optimal usage efficiency.

• Formulate strategies for successful client negotiations.

Candidate Profile


• Proficient in computer applications at an advanced level.

• Ideally possess a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience.

• Strong familiarity with the NEC Suite of Documents.

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team, meeting deadlines with precision while managing a small team of site-based Quantity Surveyors.
