Exciting Opportunity in Residential Development

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on residential development projects. The role will involve contributing to a variety of residential schemes, from large-scale housing developments to bespoke, high-end homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role in the running of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Work on the production of technical drawing packages, including budget estimates, material specifications, and work descriptions.
  • Design presentation materials, such as boards and layouts, to effectively communicate project details.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant laws, assessing risks and creating Health and Safety Plans as needed.
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and issue instructions as necessary.
  • Organize drawings properly and back up computer files monthly, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years in practice experience, with a strong background in residential development.
  • Confident in the running of projects, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Auto-CAD, with current knowledge of UK regulations and experience in UK-based residential development.
  • Developer-led project experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
