Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Tozer Associates. As a key member of our building services design consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions to our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including schools, industrial facilities, decarbonisation schemes, commercial offices, residential, and student accommodation. You will be involved in detailed design, design reviews, surveys, CAD drawing production, project, and information management in relation to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with design partners and internal team members to deliver projects
  • Conduct design reviews and surveys to ensure high-quality design solutions
  • Produce CAD drawings and manage project information
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A hands-on approach to electrical design engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to transmit your passion for engineering to clients and colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience of using front-end design tools such as Amtech, Revit MEP, BIM, and CAD
  • IT literacy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
