About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Activate Group Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for supporting the finance manager with month-end duties, including the production of management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the finance manager with month-end duties, including the production of management accounts
  • Produce and process journals, including accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Collect and record financial information
  • Line manage a team of 2 finance assistants
  • Accurate processing and reviewing of a high volume of supplier invoices within payment terms
  • Accurately reconcile supplier statements
  • Investigate supplier queries
  • Chase supplier invoices and credit notes timely and effectively
  • Assist the finance team with customer enquiries
  • Assist with supplier payment runs
  • General Administration duties
  • Answer phone calls and deal with enquiries effectively
Requirements
  • Experience of assisting with the production of management accounts
  • AAT Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage own time and workload
  • Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 or above
