About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to join our team at Silver Stag of Scotland. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, event marketing, promotions, and offers across our various business streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing and advertising campaigns to achieve revenue growth and client retention.
  • Manage a rolling content calendar, coordinating content creation across channels to maximize sales opportunities and improve customer retention.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will meet the majority of the following requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of developing a marketing plan and managing marketing campaigns to deliver key income and other targets.
  • Ability to proactively drive sales through brand and event marketing, promotions, and offers.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage external partners.
  • Good knowledge of a broad range of social media channels.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Competency using MS Office software and website CRM systems.

Prior experience in a similar business development/sales/account management role is beneficial. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to plan and prioritize work effectively, thrive within a busy environment, take their own initiative, work to consistently high standards, identify opportunities, and work to maximize them.
