Walker Lovell is seeking a talented and dynamic Corporate Associate to join our client's award-winning and market-leading Corporate team in London. This is a full-time position offering a hybrid working model.

As a Corporate Associate, you will report to the Partners and collaborate with the esteemed Corporate Team on a wide range of corporate matters and transactions. You will engage with diverse clients, including start-ups, high-growth companies, and large corporations, handling complex and high-value corporate transactions such as corporate finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, partnering arrangements, management buy-outs, buy-ins, business transfers, and PE & VC investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategic relationships with clients.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with the Partners and other lawyers to develop and implement business strategies and plans.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • 4-5 years PQE within a Corporate team at a City or national firm.
