About the RoleAs a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to bridge design, strengthening, repair, inspections, and assessments. You will provide civil and structural engineering support across diverse teams, assist in conducting feasibility studies and options appraisals, and prepare and review specifications, reports, and health and safety risk assessments.

- Contribute to the development and review of CDM documentation, including Pre-Construction Information Packs.
- Review design drawings and support the preparation of fee estimates.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping to foster their professional growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Chartered status or working towards it with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) or Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE).
- Solid experience in bridge design, maintenance, and assessment.
- Familiarity with Eurocodes and/or sector-specific standards (e.g., Network Rail standards, DMRB).
- Proficiency in finite element analysis software and a good understanding of parametric design techniques.
- Strong commercial awareness and a solid understanding of managing project costs.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, and client-handling skills.
- A proactive approach to taking on new challenges and a passion for mentoring others.
