About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Heating Engineer to join our team at Good Energy. As a Trainee Heating Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation of Air Source Heating solutions in our customers' homes, under the supervision of a Heating Installation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Heating Installation Engineers by assisting with pipework, radiator installation, and delivering high-quality technical expertise to install our products, including air source heat pumps.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Deliver high standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance to ensure the well-being of yourself, customers, and colleagues.
  • Continuously develop your technical skills and maintain industry knowledge to prioritize health, safety, and compliance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing customers' needs and delivering a world-class installation experience.
Requirements
  • A current UK driving license with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing and Heating or similar qualification.
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight when required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous installation experience, including radiator hanging and connection.
  • Knowledge of air source heat pumps.
  • Experience in the energy or utilities industry.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Unvented Hot Water Storage Certificate (G3 requirement).
