University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate midwife to join our team. As a trusted organisation at the heart of our communities, we provide exceptional care to women and families across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
We are committed to delivering high-quality, woman-centred care and offer a range of models of midwifery and obstetric care provision. Our team is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of our midwives, and we offer a comprehensive induction package to ensure a smooth transition into our service.
Main Responsibilities- Provide safe, clinically effective, and woman-centred care across the whole pathway of midwifery care, including antenatal, labour, and postnatal care.
- Lead by example, develop others, offer midwifery advice, support, and manage services, working flexibly across the service within differing models of maternity care.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams within the clinical environment to deliver care to women and babies whose needs are complex.
- Current and valid NMC pin
- Band 6 Registered Midwife
- Evidence of CPD
