About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an IT Helpdesk Apprentice. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients and internal teams via various communication channels.
  • Ticket Management: Work through assigned tickets, resolving issues and escalating complex problems to senior technicians as needed.
  • System Updates: Ensure accurate updates are made to internal systems, facilitating efficient workflow and knowledge sharing.
  • On-Site Visits: Conduct site visits to clients for IT setup and maintenance tasks, ensuring seamless technical support.
  • Time Management: Manage your own calendar and time effectively, ensuring prompt arrival at work and client sites.

  • Excellent Communication: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of hardware and software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Entry Requirements
  • Education: Hold 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, with GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • Qualification: Not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship, which is in a similar subject.
