About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and developing our financial strategies to drive business growth and productivity.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with multiple stakeholders, developing and fostering effective partnership approaches, and supporting the development of business cases utilising investment appraisal techniques. You will also have experience of working with information technology using Microsoft Office packages and an integrated financial / general ledger system.

We offer a competitive package, including 27 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time) plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 29 days after 5 years' service and to 33 days after 10 years. You will also have access to training and development opportunities through our Finance Skills Development Network and One NHS Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and productivity
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to develop and foster effective partnership approaches
  • Support the development of business cases utilising investment appraisal techniques
  • Manage and maintain financial systems and processes
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the business
