Job Title: PR and Communications Executive

Join our team at Utilita Energy, a pioneering energy company dedicated to helping customers use less energy and reduce their carbon footprint. We're seeking a highly skilled PR and Communications Executive to play a key role in our communications team.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented communications professional to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals. As a PR and Communications Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to raise awareness of our brand and promote our products and services.

You'll work closely with our Media & Communications Manager to create engaging content, manage media relations, and deliver communications that drive business results. Your role will also involve collaborating with our Energy Hub teams to maximize PR opportunities and creating a constant drumbeat of news lines from across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies to raise awareness of our brand and promote our products and services
  • Manage media relations and create engaging content to drive business results
  • Collaborate with our Energy Hub teams to maximize PR opportunities
  • Create a constant drumbeat of news lines from across the group
  • Work closely with our Media & Communications Manager to achieve our communications goals
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled communications professional with a strong understanding of the media landscape. You'll need:

  • At least one year's experience in Comms, PR, Journalism, or similar
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • First-rate communication skills
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver responsibilities
  • Works well under pressure
  • Good understanding of digital and social media PR landscape
  • True team player who always wants to do the right thing for the business
