Portfolio Risk & Control Analyst

Join JJ SEARCH LIMITED as a Portfolio Risk & Control Analyst and contribute to the success of our client, a highly successful Investment Management and Wealth Management firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on portfolio risk, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Support the production of effective MI/KPIs to monitor competence and adherence to policies.
  • Resolve breaches of client mandates and provide Portfolio Risk related training.
  • Support the delivery of key Front Office Risk & Control initiatives involving Portfolio Risk.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Portfolio Risk/Investment Risk/Front Office Risk/Front Office Controls role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of client investment needs.
  • Experience in a discretionary or advisory investment management environment with a focus on Retail investors.

About the Role:

This is a 14-month FTC role, and the successful candidate will report into the Front Office Risk & Control Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of investment concepts and characteristics, as well as the ability to interpret investment risk analysis.
