The position is part of the Cloud and Digital Services Division, which is dedicated to improving public service efficiency by creating common platforms and component technologies.

The ScotPayments team, a dynamic unit within this division, aims to revolutionize the management of financial transactions across the Scottish Government. Their mission is to design, construct, and oversee a reliable payment service that operates on a unified platform, facilitating transactions involving businesses, charities, citizens, and governmental bodies.

Currently in the beta stage, the ScotPayments team is focusing on outbound payments for key partners. To advance to the next stage of development, they are seeking a Senior Platform Architect. The successful candidate will thrive in an agile setting, playing a vital role in establishing an operational payment platform. Key responsibilities include overseeing the architecture, development, and support to ensure the smooth functioning of outbound payments for designated organizations.

Key Responsibilities
