Position Overview

We are seeking a Consultant Gastroenterologist with General Internal Medicine (GIM) expertise to join our esteemed team.

About the Organization

Triple West Medical is collaborating with a prominent NHS Trust in the South West of England, recognized for its extensive healthcare services and a dedicated workforce exceeding 10,000 professionals. This Trust serves a diverse population, ensuring comprehensive medical care across various facilities.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a full spectrum of general gastroenterology services, including specialized outpatient care in Hepatology.
  • Participate in the emergency endoscopy rota and contribute to the GIM on-call schedule.
  • Conduct two general gastroenterology clinics weekly and assist in both upper and lower endoscopy procedures.
  • Engage in the development of specialized interests to enhance the gastroenterology services offered.
Team Collaboration

The gastroenterology division works closely with the Division of Medicine and the Division of Surgery, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality patient care.
