Job Overview

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Consultant in Haematology to join our team. As a key member of our Haematology department, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Haematology Service in West Norfolk and Wisbech.

Main Duties

The appointed consultant will contribute to the on-going service improvement programme, developing initiatives such as Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) and Cost Improvement programme (CIP). You will also be expected to implement evidence-based new ways of working when necessary.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, MRCP Part 1 and Part 2, and full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council. You will also need to meet the criteria set out in the Specialist generic capabilities framework.
