Position Overview:

As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will engage in a full-time, permanent role, dedicating 40 hours per week to our dynamic team. In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £26,000 annually, along with comprehensive study support and a range of excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the finance team in preparing monthly management accounts, including detailed contract costing analysis.
  • Conduct thorough contract costing evaluations.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements.
  • Support commercial reviews and analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with the transactional finance team to ensure precise processing of revenues and expenditures.
  • Proactively address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to the transactional finance team to ensure accurate processing.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Experience with computerized database systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access).
  • Experience in a social housing context is advantageous.
