Key Responsibilities:

As part of our expanding Project Control team, we are seeking dedicated and proactive Project Planning Specialists to enhance our operations. This role offers a chance to refine your expertise and advance your career in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your contributions will include:

  • Project Health: Assessing individual project evaluations and pinpointing issues and risks for discussion with project stakeholders.
  • Schedule Evaluation: Overseeing the validation of project schedules to ensure accuracy, coherence, and alignment with program planning standards.
  • Integrated Baseline Management: Spearheading the creation of the Integrated Baseline schedule to effectively deliver the program in line with planning principles.
  • Cost Management: Verifying project-level cost forecasts to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, including the evaluation of outlier forecasts to support Estimate at Completion (EAC).
  • Risk and Opportunity Oversight: Leading Schedule Risk Analysis across projects where applicable.
  • New Business Engagement: Actively participating in bid team activities, ensuring fundamental project management principles are properly addressed and executed.

What We Seek:

  • Experience in planning, from detailed project planning to high-level milestone delivery.
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining project structures (WBS/CBS/OBS).
  • Ability to generate and analyze project performance metrics (schedule, resource, and cost).
  • Capability to conduct and interpret Schedule Risk Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, and Earned Value Management.
  • Drive to identify root causes and propose corrective measures.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (SAP, ARM, Primavera, Oracle Unifier).
  • Understanding of Baseline Management and Change Control processes.
  • Accountability for the integrity of project data, ensuring high-quality project control reporting.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a project coordination role, preferably within a procurement context.
  • Proficiency in P6 is mandatory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel; knowledge of PowerBI is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Project Estimate at Completion and Forecast Cost at Completion reviews.
  • Experience in Risk & Opportunities and What-If analysis.
  • Comprehension of resource-loaded schedules.
