Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + vehicle allowance/company vehicle - A valid UK driving license is required for this position.

Howells Solutions Limited is collaborating with a prominent main contractor to recruit a dedicated and proactive Community Engagement Officer to support their initiatives in Social Housing, focusing on projects across the East London and Essex regions.

Your primary role will involve fostering positive interactions with residents to offer guidance and assistance throughout refurbishment, maintenance, and significant works programs. You will play a crucial role in mitigating dissatisfaction and swiftly addressing complaints and inquiries.

  • Possessing a full clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Conducting pre-entry visits and facilitating company orientations
  • Collecting tenancy agreements and approval documentation
  • Visiting residents in their homes to inform them about ongoing and upcoming work
  • Serving as the primary contact for tenants, addressing any issues or inquiries they may have
  • Establishing collaborative relationships with neighborhood housing associations
  • Visiting properties undergoing refurbishment with prospective tenants and providing updates on completion timelines

Additionally, you will be responsible for attending and leading tenant forum meetings to inform residents about the works being undertaken. You will be part of a modern, innovative organization that values the diverse strengths, skills, and personalities of its team members as the foundation of its success.
