This Senior Photonics Engineer would be expected to bring expertise to the team in the design, development, and testing of PICs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop photonics devices through advanced FDTD simulations
  • Utilize layout design tools such as Nazca design or IPKISS to create innovative PIC designs
  • Characterize photonics optical components to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success
  • Relocate to a new location or be in a commutable distance to a major UK city

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in designing photonics devices through FDTD simulations
  • Expertise in layout design with tools such as Nazca design or IPKISS
  • Experience in characterizing photonics optical components
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to relocate or be in a commutable distance to a major UK city
