About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shop Manager to join our team at Sue Ryder Hillsborough. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a large team of volunteers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of volunteers to deliver great customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Work with the local community to generate donated stock and drive sales
  • Recruit, train, and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance
  • Manage effective stock processes, ensuring the shop is well-merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives
About You

We are looking for an experienced retail professional with a positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team. You will have a good understanding of financial and IT administration, as well as the ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
