KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver comprehensive environmental consultancy services to both our organization and clients.
- Manage environmental permits, including preparation, submission, and ongoing reporting.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and address environmental concerns.
- Champion the implementation of sustainability initiatives and environmental strategies.
- Assist in incident investigations and provide support for HSE management through established investigation methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental Management System (EMS) standards, including conducting audits as necessary.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and working groups.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in an environmental discipline or equivalent experience in environmental consultancy.
- Proficient Internal Auditor with relevant training.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and incident investigation techniques.
- Membership in a recognized environmental professional body.
- Trained External Auditor.
- Offshore safety certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental advisory roles within the Oil & Gas sector or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in permit management processes.
- Exceptional technical writing and reporting skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret environmental performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Practical experience in on-site environmental management.
