Join Our Team as a Senior Proposal Manager

We are thrilled to present an opportunity to become a pivotal member of our organization at Certas Energy UK Ltd. in the role of Senior Proposal Manager.

The Senior Proposal Manager will oversee a top-tier proposal writing team that focuses on a diverse range of energy solutions, including liquid fuels, hydrogen, solar energy, and innovative products as they emerge in the market. This team will function as a vital resource, providing support across various sectors within our Energy Solutions and Roadside Services divisions.

In this capacity, you will spearhead a centralized proposal function, collaborating closely with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels. By refining the proposal lifecycle, we aim to create customer-focused offerings that drive business growth and enhance client retention. The financial impact of the Bid Writing & Commercial Team is projected to surpass £12 million in profit before interest and tax.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in proposal management, demonstrating a successful history of leading high-value proposals in competitive settings.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects across multiple sites.
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic project management capabilities, with a talent for guiding cross-functional teams and large projects under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively with a diverse range of professionals while managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Creativity and a drive for continuous improvement and results.
  • The courage to embrace new challenges, explore optimal solutions for the company, and develop comprehensive briefing and action plans.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • 2 - 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications in addition to your undergraduate degree.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Experience in managing a multi-million-pound profit and loss account.
