Junior Building Surveyor Opportunity

Location: London

Salary: Up to £36,000 + Benefits + Bonus

We are excited to partner with a leading and innovative Building Consultancy that is seeking to enhance its established team of approximately 40 property professionals with a junior-level addition.

This consultancy boasts a wealth of experience in providing building surveying and project management services across a variety of sectors, including commercial real estate, industrial properties, leisure and hospitality, retail, educational institutions, and research and development facilities. Their clientele includes major financial organizations, such as asset management firms, as well as small to medium-sized businesses with specialized properties.

Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and enthusiastic junior Building Surveyor with 12-24 months of relevant experience to join our London office. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to advance their career in building surveying within a respected consultancy. You will collaborate closely with our seasoned team on diverse projects, gaining exposure to a wide array of surveying tasks and responsibilities.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in performing building surveys, inspections, and drafting comprehensive reports.
  • Support the preparation of schedules of condition, dilapidation assessments, and specifications.
  • Contribute to the management of small to medium-sized projects, including refurbishment and maintenance initiatives.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Assist with contract administration and project management responsibilities as needed.
  • Remain informed about relevant legislation, building codes, and industry standards.
