Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our accounting team, assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, and participating in the preparation of monthly financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including financial projections and trend analysis.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and other financial tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including accounting standards and tax laws.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
