Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Installation Specialist to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As an Electrical Field Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out various electrical installation works on technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Installation: Install and maintain electrical systems, including control panels, MCC compartments, distribution boards, and instrumentation.
  • Site Surveys: Conduct electrical surveys of sites to establish methods of installation and create reports detailing findings.
  • Risk Assessments: Contribute to and/or create risk assessments and method statements for packages of work.
  • Competent Person: Undertake the role of Competent Person in-line with Electrical Safety Rules.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside software engineers to ensure I/O is present and serviceable as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of electrical experience within a medium or large organization.
  • Skills: Good planning, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of electrical installations and control systems, including control panels/MCCs, PLC, SCADA, instrumentation.
  • Qualifications: NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent. BS7671 18th edition- Requirements for electrical installations. Good basic education, particularly in English language and grammar.
