Role Overview:
Join our dedicated team as an Offshore Service Technician, where your expertise will be crucial in maintaining lifeboats and essential lifesaving apparatus in an offshore environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to travel to various locations, providing a refreshing change of scenery while contributing to safety at sea. Ideal candidates will have experience with lifesaving equipment, whether from direct involvement with lifejackets, lifeboats, or marine vessels. Your work schedule will vary based on operational demands, ranging from short stints to extended periods offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of safety equipment, including weighing and repacking.
- Label products accurately for identification.
- Propose enhancements to our products and operational processes.
- Meet daily productivity targets and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Document findings and submit detailed reports post-inspection for administrative processing.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently.
