About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Adswood Lodge care home in Stockport. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing person-centred and evidence-based nursing care to adults living with complex care and health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing, planning, and implementing care for individuals with complex needs
  • Providing safe and effective medication administration
  • Developing collaborative care plans through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Managing challenging situations and promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
  • Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit while on shift
Requirements
  • First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
  • Knowledge of assessment, admission, and discharge processes
  • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • Ability to demonstrate a range of clinical skills
  • Excellent supervision, peer support, learning opportunities, and career prospects
