Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an SEN School in Dudley. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to support students with complex needs.
• Provide individualized support to students aged 4-19, either one-to-one or in small groups.
• Assist with lesson planning and implementation, ensuring students receive a tailored education.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
• Previous experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
• Suitable qualifications, such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care, or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, are desired but not essential.
• Ability to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
