Family Support and Health Care Workers are required to provide high-quality care and support to a young boy named Zac, who has a rare cardiac condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 24/7 care and support to Zac, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
- Work under the direction of Zac's mum to meet his needs and provide support with his care plan.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with Zac and his family, promoting a sense of trust and respect.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in tracheostomy care and other relevant areas.
- A recognised, accredited care qualification with children is desirable.
- Experience of tracheostomy care is also preferable.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role, paid for by the employer.
