PPR Social Care is seeking an experienced and passionate Team Manager to lead an Assessment and Intervention Team within the Children's Service for a local Authority in London.
Job Summary:We are looking for a qualified and experienced Team Manager to manage a team of social workers, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality social care services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality social care services.
- Develop and implement effective assessment and intervention strategies to meet the needs of children and families.
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide supervision and support to social workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, including those from vulnerable groups.
- Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and other agencies.
