Salary: £40,000 OTE (including £33,000 to £35,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus)

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at Lookers Volkswagen Glasgow Van Centre. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities


• Conducting vehicle health checks using the latest technology

• Performing vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests

• Carrying out additional repairs once authorised by the customer

• Warranty repairs are performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant documentation is completed

• Conducting road tests to ensure all faults are rectified

• Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop environment. You will be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, with the ability to work to the highest standards. A full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are essential. Having previous experience of working with the Volkswagen brand would be advantageous, although full brand accreditation training can be provided.
