About the Position:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Culinary Supervisor to join our committed team at a beautifully renovated care facility in Great Easton, Essex.

This position provides an excellent work-life balance, with no late shifts and consistent hours throughout the week.

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will oversee the kitchen operations three days a week, collaborating with the Head Chef for one day, fostering a cooperative and supportive atmosphere.


Key Duties:
1. Prepare exceptional meals for residents, accommodating their unique dietary needs and preferences.
2. Assist the Chef Manager in leading the kitchen team and ensuring adherence to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
3. Maintain a tidy and organized kitchen space, conducting risk assessments and complying with regulatory standards.
4. Assume responsibility for the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Chef Manager.
5. Contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring a diverse range of nutritious and appetizing meals.
6. Promote a welcoming and friendly environment, engaging positively with residents, guests, and families.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a Chef in a catering setting, preferably within the care sector.
2. Valid food hygiene certification.
3. City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
4. A proactive, passionate, and ambitious mindset.
5. Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Clean DBS.
