Job Title: Asset Condition Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Condition Surveyor to join our team at Mainstay Industrial. As an Asset Condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough onsite inspections of mechanical and electrical assets, documenting conditions, and analysing data to provide accurate reports on the status of assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed inspections of assets, utilising appropriate experience, tools and techniques to assess their condition
  • Document and record detailed observations, including any defects, damages, or areas requiring maintenance or repair
  • Collect and analyse data to determine the overall health and performance of assets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend appropriate actions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to asset condition assessment
Requirements:
  • Qualified engineer in one of the BES disciplines
  • Experience in asset data collections and lifecycle principles
  • Competent in producing reports, working with large data sets and meeting deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel to/from sites and stay away from home for up to 2-3 nights a week
  • Experience on PFI contracts
About the Role:

This is a mobile role covering locations nationally across the UK. You will be working closely with the Head of Surveying and the Head of Asset Management to evaluate and assess the physical state of various assets. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, documenting conditions, and analysing data to provide accurate reports on the status of assets.
