Please be aware that it is the policy of Midlothian Council that successful candidates will start at the initial point on the salary scale.
The minimum actual wage for this role is £13.11 per hour.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
This position is classified as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Therefore, it is unlawful to apply if you are prohibited from working with minors.
Successful applicants will need to obtain PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children. You will be required to enroll in the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to starting employment with Midlothian Council, the cost of which will be your responsibility. Midlothian Council is currently in a phase of transformation, enhancing and refining the manner in which it provides services in the region.
