We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Control Tower Specialist to join our DSV ROAD LIMITED team in Bristol. As a Control Tower Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmaceutical logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer and Supplier Liaison**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate updates of shipment milestones.
- **Job Execution and Irregularity Handling**: Review and validate shipment routing against SOP and GDP guidelines, and handle irregularities with escalation as appropriate.
- **Logistics Service Provider Management**: Allocate jobs to appropriate logistics service providers and monitor customs declarations.
- **Document Production and Reconciliation**: Produce and reconcile documents to ensure accurate and timely updates of shipment milestones.
Requirements
- **Microsoft Office**: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- **Document Production**: Experienced in document production and reconciliation.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
- **Effective Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- **Knowledge of Customs Procedures**: Knowledge of customs procedures and ability to navigate complex logistics regulations.
