About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Radiography Field Service Engineer to join our Service Division Team at Burtons Medical Equipment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our cutting-edge digital X-ray systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair digital X-ray systems, with a focus on software, hardware, and networking.
  • Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and configuration of specialised X-ray acquisition software.
  • Perform installations, commissioning and annual service visits for new and existing X-ray equipment at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues both onsite and remotely, via phone support or remote desktop access.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and third-party suppliers to source spare parts, technical manuals, and support.
  • Complete service reports and administrative tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Manage your workload effectively, scheduling and planning jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and adhere to company guidelines and procedures.
About You

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a background in electronics, computing, biomedical engineering, or a related field. You should be skilled in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with customers, both in-person and remotely.
