Job Description

At Liberty, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our Merchandising department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through effective merchandise planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate forecasts to inform business decisions, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
  • Category Management: Lead the development and implementation of category plans, including range and option planning, to drive sales and profitability.
  • Trading and Stock Optimization: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimize stock levels, ensuring maximum availability and minimizing stockouts.
  • Markdown and Promotions: Develop and execute markdown and promotion strategies to maximize margin and drive sales.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient stock processes, including price changes, intake forecasts, and transfers.
  • Data and Tools: Utilize data and analytics to inform business decisions and drive process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with company systems and tools.
  • Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Previous merchandising experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability through effective merchandise planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen, with ability to understand and drive business strategy.
