About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes. As a Nurse Manager in Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the clinical area, ensuring effective utilisation of resources and promoting a quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
- Manage resources responsibly and efficiently, ensuring effective utilisation of resources in the day-to-day management and leadership of the clinical area.
- Act as a resource for information pertaining to critically ill patients within the unit and hospital, liaising with other clinical managers and professional heads to ensure consistency of practice and continuity of care.
- Manage a team of up to 5 staff, including registered and unregistered colleagues, requiring appraisal management and supporting progression of the team.
