We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver goods to customers using a Class 1 vehicle
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Collect backloads and deliver them to their destinations
- Operate a double deck with tail lifts
- Work independently and as part of a team
- UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Confident, polite, and a team player
- Good geographical knowledge
- Competitive salary from £47,000 per annum
- Hours of work are from 01:00hrs – 04:00hrs, working on a 5on 3off rota including weekends
