We are seeking a skilled Second Chef to join our culinary team at Meallmore's St Modans Care Home in Fraserburgh. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and cooking meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Prepare and serve meals in a timely manner, ensuring that residents receive their meals on schedule.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless food service and resident satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Adhere to food budget guidelines and assist in minimizing waste.
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food allergies is desirable.
- Strong culinary skills and creativity to prepare appetizing meals.
